Join us for a guided walk and get close to the blooming lilac fences.

Henrik Jessen Toft, agronomist, lilac expert and co-author of “The Syrenbogen — A Tribute to the South Funen Lilacs” and chairman of Syrenlandet Sydfyn, takes you on a guided tour along the flowering lilac fences in the wild north of Svanninge Bakker. On the trip
Henrik tells about the cultural history of lilacs in South Funen, as well as about lilacs in general and about flowering lilac hedges in particular.

On the tour you will also learn more about the amazing landscape and about how life was lived in an overgrown area in the 1800s.
The walk is about 3 km and is not strenuous. It lasts 1.5 hours along the blooming lilac fences and overlooking Arreskov Lake.
